About L. Boyanova

L. Boyanova is a cyberpunk mystery and technothriller author whose fiction is set in the world of Tanarielis City—a future shaped by AI, investigations, justice, and difficult choices.

A psychologist and economist, she is especially interested in how relationships between humans and artificial intelligences might evolve through action, consent, responsibility, personal boundaries, and moral conflict.

Her stories combine detective tension, hidden systems, corporate pressure, and the dangerous spaces where law begins to lose its hold. At the center of her fiction are characters forced to make choices under pressure—and to live with what those choices cost.

She is currently developing the Tanarielis City Detectives series, where a human detective and his AI partner investigate cases that lead far beyond ordinary crime.

When she isn’t writing, Boyanova works as a psychologist and spends time with her family. She loves writing by the river and the sea—places that remind her that nothing is permanent and every crossing is a new choice.
